Senior Site Engineers, Site Engineers, Freshers

About the Role

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring daily project activities.
• Execute works related to intake structures, pump houses, rising mains, distribution pipelines, and electrical substations.
• Ensure all activities are carried out as per approved drawings, BOQs, standards, and specifications.

2. Site Supervision & Quality Assurance.

• Supervise civil, mechanical, electrical, pipeline, or canal-related activities at site.
• Conduct quality checks, material inspections, and maintain QA/QC records as per project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with IS codes, CPHEEO guidelines, and departmental standards.

3. Mechanical & Electrical Systems (for M&E Engineers)

• Support installation, alignment, and commissioning of pumps, motors, valves, electrical panels, transformers, HT/LT systems, and related equipment.
• Assist in cable laying, earthing, testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and resolve basic technical issues.

4. Pipeline & Canal Works

• Supervise trenching, laying, jointing, and testing of DI, MS, PVC, HDPE, or PSC pipelines.
• Assist in hydro-testing, flushing, and pressure testing.
• Support in canal modernization works, including concrete lining and structural construction.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Support in preparing and attending inspection calls and joint measurement activities.
• Resolve site-related challenges to ensure smooth workflow.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily progress reports (DPR), measurement records, material logs, and labor deployment details.
• Prepare as-built drawings, test reports, and handover documentation.
• Support billing and estimation teams as required.

7. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to all site safety procedures and environmental norms.
• Conduct safety toolbox talks and promote safe working practices on site.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech - Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• Diploma - Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• Candidates must have passed from a reputed and recognized college/institution.

Experience

• Freshers and experienced candidates (06 years) are eligible.
• Preferred experience in:
• Lift irrigation projects
• Water supply schemes
• Canal modernization and irrigation infrastructure
• Pump house construction
• Pipeline works (DI/MS/HDPE)
• Transmission line and substation projects

Technical Skills

• Ability to understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Basic knowledge of surveying, QA/QC, and site documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, electrical systems, and pipeline testing for M&E roles.
