We are Hiring for Store Executive for our Plastic Injection Molding Component in Irungattukottai

Role Overview

The Stores Executive is responsible for managing inbound and outbound materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring smooth coordination between production, purchase, and dispatch teams. The role demands precision, accountability, and basic common sense, which sadly isnt always common.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify raw materials, consumables, and finished goods as per PO and delivery challans.
  
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and identification of materials as per company standards.
  
• Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/manual registers (GRN, Issue Slips, Stock Registers, etc.).
  
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and raise indent requests proactively.
  
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, and Quality teams for material availability and discrepancies.
  
• Handle inward and outward material movement including documentation and gate entry records.
  
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile variances.
  
• Ensure FIFO / FEFO practices are followed where applicable.
  
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the stores area.
  
• Support internal and external audits related to inventory and material control.
  

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (Logistics, Supply Chain, or Mechanical preferred).
  
• 2–5 years of experience in stores or inventory management (manufacturing background preferred).
  
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Oracle or equivalent).
  
• Familiarity with inventory control procedures and documentation.
  
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, email, data entry).
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Attention to detail (yes, actually important here).
  
• Good coordination and communication skills.
  
• Ability to handle pressure and multitask.
  
• Basic understanding of quality and safety practices.
  
• Physically fit to handle material movement when required.
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience in plastic / injection molding / manufacturing industry.
  
• Knowledge of raw materials, consumables, and tooling inventory.
  
• Exposure to ISO / IATF / audit environments
