Store Operations Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Store Operations Manager who will be responsible for ensuring high standards of product quality, store efficiency, and team performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, inventory/store management, and Team management, especially in the food or FMCG sector. Key Responsibilities:, 1. Quality Control: Ensure daily quality checks of sweets, snacks, and namkeens as per company standards. Monitor hygiene, product freshness, packaging, and storage conditions. Handle customer complaints related to product quality and coordinate with production for resolution. Implement and follow FSSAI & company-specific compliance protocols. 2. Store Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the retail outlet including sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service. Manage inward and outward stock flow efficiently with minimal wastage. Maintain attractive product displays, ensure FIFO (First In, First Out), and manage shelf-life of perishables. Coordinate with HO/warehouse for stock requirements and replenishment. Generate and analyze sales reports, track performance, and optimize store operations. 3. Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate store staff including counter sales, housekeeping, and backend operations. Create a positive work environment, set clear KPIs, and conduct regular performance reviews. Schedule shifts, ensure discipline, and maintain attendance and productivity records. Handle team grievances with professionalism and escalate when needed. Key Requirements: Experience: 4 to 6 years in food retail/FMCG/QSR management. Education: Graduate in any discipline; Diploma/Degree in Food Technology or Retail Management preferred. Strong knowledge of quality control standards, inventory systems, and Team management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic POS systems. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Willingness to work in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
