Job Description

Position Overview

The Store Manager (Luxury + Premium Brands) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, driving sales performance, and managing staff. This role requires strong leadership, operational efficiency, and the ability to create a customer-centric environment aligned with company standards and goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Maintain store standards in terms of cleanliness, display, and product availability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and legal requirements.
  • Manage stock levels, inventory control, and timely replenishment.

2. Sales & Customer Experience

  • Drive sales performance by setting targets and motivating the team.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve escalated issues promptly.
  • Analyze sales trends, identify opportunities, and implement strategies to boost revenue.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

3. Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and mentor store staff to build a high-performing team.
  • Create work schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor staff performance.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and implement improvement plans where needed.
  • Foster a positive, motivating, and inclusive workplace culture.

4. Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage store budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Control costs through efficient resource and manpower management.
  • Monitor KPIs such as sales, profit margins, conversion rates, and shrinkage.

5. Visual Merchandising & Branding

  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines in store presentation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for in-store promotions and events.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge to support upselling and cross-selling.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or in a supervisory retail role.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Sales-driven with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and retail management software (POS, ERP).
