Store Keeper

Job Summary: The Construction Site Store Keeper is responsible for efficiently managing and maintaining the inventory of materials, tools, and equipment at the construction site. This role ensures accurate record-keeping, timely distribution of materials, and adherence to safety and quality standards in storage. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify materials delivered to the site. Maintain accurate records of stock levels using manual logs or inventory management software. Monitor inventory to avoid overstocking or shortages. Material Handling: Issue materials and tools to site personnel as per requisitions. Ensure proper stacking, storage, and labeling of materials to avoid damage and loss. Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain records of receipts, issues, returns, and transfers of materials. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for site management. Coordinate with the procurement team for material reorders. Safety & Compliance: Ensure storage areas comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Report damaged, expired, or unsafe materials promptly. Keep the store area clean, organized, and secure at all times. Coordination: Liaise with site engineers, supervisors, and vendors for timely material availability. Assist in the coordination of logistics and transportation of materials to and from the site.
