Roles & Responsibilities of Store Staff in Retail1. Customer ServiceGreet customers warmly and assist them with queries. Provide product information, recommendations, and alternatives. Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment methods securely. Issue receipts, process returns, and manage refunds/exchanges. Balance the cash register at the end of the shift. 6. Loss Prevention & SafetyStay alert to avoid shoplifting or suspicious activity. Follow store security policies. Maintain safety standards to avoid accidents. Report any hazards or incidents immediately. 7. Teamwork & ComplianceCoordinate with colleagues for smooth store functioning. Follow company policies, grooming, and code of conduct. Attend training sessions to improve skills and product knowledge.
