Job Description

Store Keeper – Real Estate / Construction: Role Summary: Responsible for managing all site materials, ensuring accurate inventory control, timely issue of materials, proper documentation, and coordination with the procurement and project teams. Key Responsibilities: Receive, verify, and record all incoming materials as per purchase orders. Maintain daily stock registers and ensure accurate inventory levels. Issue materials to site teams based on approved requisitions. Ensure safe and systematic storage of cement, steel, electrical, plumbing, and finishing materials. Track material consumption and report shortages in advance. Maintain proper documentation: stock statements, returnable/ non-returnable registers. Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment. Prevent pilferage and ensure material quality at the time of receipt. Support audits and provide monthly stock reports. Required Skills: Knowledge of construction materials Good record-keeping & documentation skills Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP preferred) Strong coordination & discipline at site Experience: 1–5 years in construction/real estate preferred.
