Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Maintain records of incoming and outgoing materials at the project store.
Ensure proper documentation of GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MRN (Material Receipt Note), and material issue slips.
Monitor stock levels regularly and prepare indents for replenishment.
Verify material delivery against purchase orders and report discrepancies immediately.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of construction materials, tools, and consumables.
Handle inventory using ERP software .
Conduct physical stock verification periodically and reconcile with system records.
Coordinate with the purchase team, site engineers, and contractors regarding material requirements.
Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors or management.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification:

Experience:
4 years in store management at construction project sites (preferably in roads/bridges/highways)
Skills Required:

Knowledge of inventory management practices
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/software handling
Good communication and documentation skills
Familiarity with construction materials .
