Store Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Store In-Charge to manage raw materials, finished goods, and inventory operations in our textile manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper storage, accurate stock records, and smooth coordination with production, purchase, and dispatch teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, fabrics, accessories, and finished goods
• Maintain accurate inventory records in registers/software (ERP preferred)
• Ensure proper labelling, stacking, and safe storage of materials
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchase department for timely replenishment
• Issue materials to production as per requisitions and BOMs
• Handle inward and outward entries, delivery challans, and gate passes
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store area
• Coordinate with production, quality, and dispatch teams for smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Graduate in any discipline (Logistics, Supply Chain preferred)
• 2–5 years of experience as Store In-Charge or Store Keeper in a textile or garment manufacturing unit
• Good knowledge of textile raw materials, fabrics, trims, and accessories
• Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, email, reports)
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Ability to work independently and handle pressure
