Store Assistant

Key Responsibilities:1. Stock Management:Inventory Control: Oversee inventory levels to ensure stock availability and prevent stockouts or overstocking. Stock Receiving & Inspection: Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring that items match orders and are in good condition. Stock Organization: Maintain a well-organized stock area, ensuring easy access and efficient stock replenishment. Stock Audits: Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records to ensure accuracy. Stock Transfers: Manage stock transfers between different locations or departments as required. Stock Ordering: Liaise with suppliers to place orders, keeping track of lead times and delivery schedules. 2. Billing and Cash Management:Billing Operations: Oversee billing processes, ensuring that transactions are accurate and handled efficiently. Sales Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of sales, including receipts, invoices, and any returns or exchanges. POS System Management: Operate and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring smooth transactions and reporting. Customer Invoices: Process customer orders and generate invoices according to store policies. 3. Customer Service:Customer Assistance: Provide assistance to customers in locating items, making purchases, and answering product-related inquiries. Complaint Resolution: Handle customer complaints, returns, and exchanges in a professional and timely manner. Promotions and Discounts: Inform customers about ongoing promotions and discounts to drive sales. 4. Store Operations and Team Coordination:Team Supervision: Supervise and lead store staff, ensuring they adhere to company standards for service, cleanliness, and presentation. Employee Training: Assist in the training and development of new staff on store operations, stock management, and billing procedures. Store Presentation: Ensure the store is visually appealing, organized, and well-maintained, including cleanliness and product displays.
