Store Assistant

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Store Executive to manage our end-to-end inventory operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the physical handling of goods—from receipt to dispatch—while maintaining 100% accurate digital records in Tally Prime. You will play a critical role in ensuring our stock levels are optimized, preventing both shortages and overstocking.

Key Responsibilities1. Inventory Management & Operations

• Receiving & Inspection: Oversee the receipt of incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality against invoices or purchase orders.
• Storage & Organization: Ensure goods are stored systematically for easy retrieval and safety.
• Dispatch: Coordinate the timely dispatch of materials/products based on delivery schedules.
• Stock Monitoring: Maintain optimal stock levels. Initiate orders when stock is low and halt procurement when capacity is reached.

2. Tally Prime & Documentation

• Purchase Cycle: Create Purchase Orders (PO) and proactively follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Data Entry: Accurately record all transactions, including Receipt Notes, Stock Journals (for internal transfers), and Delivery Notes.
• Reporting: Generate weekly/monthly stock reports to identify slow-moving or obsolete items.
• Paperwork: Maintain a systematic filing system for all physical vouchers, gate passes, and challans.

3. Compliance & Auditing

• Perform regular physical stock verification (cycle counting) to reconcile physical inventory with Tally records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free store environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Software Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Tally Prime (essential).
• Experience: 2 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse management, or inventory control.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel for supplementary data analysis.
• Attributes: Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and the ability to work independently.
• Communication: Effective follow-up skills with vendors and internal departments.
