TCS is looking for Storage Administrator

Experience: 6-10 years

Location: Chennai

Required Technical Skill Set: ZTE Storage

Must have skill:

• ZTE storage: configuration items like pool, host, Lun and storage pool creation, extending existing Luns and storage pools. Migration in between storage pools and external storages. ZTE firmware upgrade & fixing issues by coordinating with DCS team.
• Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning for the ZTE storage infrastructure to ensure optimal performance. Monitor and analyze performance issues
• Managing, monitoring, and maintaining the data storage infrastructure to ensure data integrity, security, and availability in ZTE environment
• Use management tools to monitor disk usage, I/O performance, and other key metrics to ensure optimal system functionality.

Good to have skills:

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for ZTE Storage, changes, and procedures. Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routine tasks.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior engineers and other IT staff. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements related to ZTE storage
• Good to have skills on other storage sites like HP, Huawei
• Diagnosing and resolving storage-related issues and performance bottlenecks
• Good team player and quick learner
