Storage Administrator

NetApp, EMC, or Pure Storage

end-user support, troubleshoot storage issues, and manage data in a 24×7 production environment

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support NetApp, EMC, or Pure Storage environments.
• Troubleshoot NFS issues, mount problems, access permissions, and backup failures.
• Provide end-user support for storage and related services in a 24×7 production environment.
• Collaborate with other technical teams to resolve problems and evolve technology.
• Schedule, prioritize, and support storage activities while communicating actions and results.
• Respond to alerts, report issues, escalate critical problems, and exercise independent judgment.
• Perform data cleanup, disk permissions changes, and ownership/group modifications.
• Execute data backup, archival, and restoration as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and processes.
• Support mission-critical storage and data protection solutions.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in storage administration.
• Hands-on experience with NetApp, EMC, or Pure Storage solutions.
• Strong knowledge of NFS troubleshooting, mount issues, disk permissions, and access controls.
• Experience supporting mission-critical storage environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in rotational or permanent shifts.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams.
• Experience with backup, archival, and data protection solutions.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
