You are a dedicated Junior Steward joining an esteemed hotel industry client in Hyderabad on a full-time basis. You should have 1 to 3 years of experience in the field and possess essential food-related certifications and knowledge to contribute effectively to the client's operations. Your responsibilities will include setting up dining areas, providing efficient and courteous service to guests, collaborating with colleagues to ensure a seamless dining experience, adhering to health and safety regulations, maintaining inventory levels, working with kitchen staff for timely order delivery, keeping dining and work areas clean and organized, and participating in training sessions to stay updated with industry standards and practices. To excel in this role, you must have a Food Safety Certification to ensure compliance with the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Profound knowledge of food and beverages, hygiene standards, customer service, point of sale (POS) systems, team collaboration, inventory management, and multitasking are essential skills for this position. You should be able to handle POS systems proficiently, work cohesively with colleagues, monitor stock levels, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and manage various tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
