Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Lighting Designer CAD Draftsman for a full-time junior position located in Hyderabad. The candidate should have a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 3 years of work experience. This role requires proficiency in a range of design software and an eye for detail to create compelling lighting designs. Qualifications and Skills Proficient in AutoCAD, Lighting Design, and Dialux (Mandatory skill), with a strong portfolio demonstrating your design capabilities. Competence in Revit is required for creating detailed and accurate lighting plans and modifications. Strong ability to perform illuminance calculations to ensure that designs meet desired lighting levels and standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately to ensure conformance to specifications and project requirements. Technical drafting skills to develop precise drawings and documentation for lighting designs. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outputs within tight deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address design challenges effectively. Good communication and teamwork skills to work effectively within a team and collaborate with other design professionals. Roles and Responsibilities Designing lighting systems for various projects using relevant software such as AutoCAD and Dialux. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate lighting design within the overall project design. Creating technical drawings and documentation that detail lighting plans, specifications, and installations. Performing illuminance calculations to ensure all designs provide adequate lighting. Reviewing blueprints and other documentation to determine project requirements and constraints. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of lighting design trends, technologies, and tools. Communicating effectively to explain lighting design choices and technical information to stakeholders. Participating in site visits to assess the progress and implementation of lighting installations as needed.
