Stewarding Supervisor

As a Steward at Udaipur Marriott Hotel, located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India, your role is crucial in ensuring the cleanliness and efficiency of the food and beverage operations. You will be responsible for directing and assisting Stewards to streamline cleanup processes, ensuring appropriate water temperature and chemical levels for cleaning, and documenting these procedures. Additionally, you will support Banquet plate-ups, assist kitchen staff with various tasks, provide necessary items to cooks, and maintain adequate stock for banquet and buffet operations. Your duties will also include operating and maintaining cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors. Furthermore, you will play a key role in assisting management with tasks such as hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. To excel in this role, you should possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, along with at least 2 years of related work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. Physical requirements include the ability to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and perform various tasks that involve bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
