Steward

Job Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Steward to join our microbrewery taproom team. The ideal candidate is passionate about craft beer, food service, and creating memorable guest experiences. As a Steward, you will be responsible for serving guests, guiding them through our food and beverage selections, and ensuring top-notch hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service: Greet and seat guests, take orders, and provide recommendations on food and craft beer pairings.
• Beer Knowledge: Educate guests about our beer selection, brewing process, and flavor profiles to enhance their experience.
• Order Management: Accurately relay orders to the bar and kitchen, ensuring timely service.
• Serving & Presentation: Serve beer and food following proper pouring and presentation standards.
• Upselling: Suggest additional menu items and promotions to enhance the guest experience.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean and organized taproom, including tables, bar areas, and service stations.
• Payment Processing: Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Customer Engagement: Build rapport with guests, handle inquiries, and resolve any concerns professionally.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations, ensuring responsible beverage service.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience as a waiter, bartender, or server in a brewery, bar, or restaurant is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and billing.
• Team player with a positive attitude and customer-first approach.
• Must meet the legal age requirement for serving alcohol in the location of employment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
