Job Description

Job Purpose

To provide high-quality food and beverage service to guests in accordance with the hotel’s 5-star standards, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, hygiene, and service excellence at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

· Greet guests courteously and ensure a warm, professional welcome.

· Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them promptly to the kitchen/bar.

· Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation and service standards.

· Anticipate guest needs and handle requests or complaints politely and promptly.

· Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

Operational Duties

· Set up tables, buffets, and service stations according to hotel standards.

· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant, service areas, and equipment.

· Assist in clearing tables and resetting them efficiently.

· Ensure correct billing procedures and coordinate with cashiers when required.

Quality & Standards

· Adhere strictly to hotel SOPs, service sequences, and grooming standards.

· Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens.

· Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines at all times.

· Support sustainability and waste-reduction initiatives of the hotel.

Teamwork & Communication

· Coordinate effectively with kitchen, bar, and other service staff.

· Attend daily briefings and training sessions.

· Support colleagues during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

· Minimum: Hotel Management Certificate (Degree/ Diploma).

· 1–3 years of experience in food & beverage service in a star-category hotels preferred.

· Freshers with hotel management training may be considered.

Skills & Competencies

· Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Malayalam and Hindi is an advantage).

· Strong customer service orientation.

· Ability to work under pressure and in shift duties.

· Well-groomed, courteous, and professional demeanor.

· Basic knowledge of food & beverage service and etiquette.

Physical & Other Requirements

· Ability to stand for long hours and carry service trays.

· Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.

· High standards of personal hygiene and appearance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
