We’re seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen & Service Steward to join our café team. This dual-role position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards both in the kitchen and front-of-house areas. You’ll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring smooth service and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Key Responsibilities Kitchen Steward Duties (60%) Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand Ensure proper sanitization of all food contact surfaces following food safety standards Organize and stock kitchen supplies, ingredients, and cleaning materials Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks when needed Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain garbage/recycling areas Deep clean kitchen equipment, floors, walls, and storage areas regularly Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs Support receiving and proper storage of deliveries Service Steward Duties (40%) Clean and reset tables promptly after guests leave Maintain cleanliness of dining area, service stations, and customer restrooms Refill condiments, napkins, cutlery, and other service essentials Assist servers during peak hours with beverage refills and basic customer needs Polish glassware and cutlery to ensure spotless presentation Maintain cleanliness of coffee machines and service equipment Keep entrance, outdoor seating, and customer-facing areas clean and inviting Support the service team in creating a pleasant guest experience Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹8,494.72 - ₹12,000.00 per month Expected hours: No more than 66 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Food provided Work Location: In person
