We’re seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen & Service Steward to join our café team. This dual-role position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards both in the kitchen and front-of-house areas. You’ll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring smooth service and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Steward Duties (60%)

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand

• Ensure proper sanitization of all food contact surfaces following food safety standards

• Organize and stock kitchen supplies, ingredients, and cleaning materials

• Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks when needed

• Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain garbage/recycling areas

• Deep clean kitchen equipment, floors, walls, and storage areas regularly

• Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs

• Support receiving and proper storage of deliveries

Service Steward Duties (40%)

• Clean and reset tables promptly after guests leave

• Maintain cleanliness of dining area, service stations, and customer restrooms

• Refill condiments, napkins, cutlery, and other service essentials

• Assist servers during peak hours with beverage refills and basic customer needs

• Polish glassware and cutlery to ensure spotless presentation

• Maintain cleanliness of coffee machines and service equipment

• Keep entrance, outdoor seating, and customer-facing areas clean and inviting

• Support the service team in creating a pleasant guest experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹8,494.72 - ₹12,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No more than 66 per week
