Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Restaurant Steward to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining areas, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized. This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of our restaurant and providing a pleasant dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all dishes, glassware, silverware, and cooking utensils are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas, ensuring tables and chairs are properly arranged.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and inform management when supplies need to be reordered.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Provide support to the service team as needed, including refilling water glasses and delivering food to tables.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
