Steward

Role Overview: You will be responsible for ensuring the service of food and beverage to the guests with appropriate courtesy and efficiency in a full-time, on-site Steward role located in Ajmer. Your main duties will include providing excellent customer service, assisting with food and beverage service, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards, and supporting the overall dining experience. Additionally, you will participate in team training and adhere to operational protocols to maintain a high-quality guest experience. Key Responsibilities: - Develop restaurant sales by setting high standards of service - Ensure complete preparation of restaurant/room service mise-en-place before the area opens for operation - Take guest orders correctly and with appropriate courtesy - Ensure order accuracy by repeating the order - Assist guests in choosing the best items on the menu, increasing sales through up-selling and suggestive selling - Punch guest bills and ensure their proper processing by presenting them to guests and encasing the same - Handle all guests without bias or prejudice - Assist the captain in preparing the general stores requisition - Carry out any duties assigned by the Captain/Manager - Follow the house rules and policies laid down by the management - Adhere to strict grooming and hygiene standards - Continuously strive to improve skills and increase knowledge Qualifications: - Customer Service and Communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Ability to stand or walk for an extended period of time - Proficiency in Food & Beverage service, including serving, preparation, and presentation - Experience with Training and mentoring team members when needed - Knowledge of Food Service standards, cleanliness, and hygiene practices in a hospitality setting - Positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment - Flexibility to work in shifts and handle a fast-paced work environment - Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous,
