State Team Lead Statutory

Job Role:

Job Accountabilities

1. Statutory Compliance:

  • Oversee and expedite the process of obtaining statutory approvals for NRO cases within the state, ensuring adherence to defined timelines.
  • Maintain close coordination with NDMs/SBDMs, the SCO team, and LOI Holders to secure approvals in a timely manner.
  • Develop and regularly update a comprehensive MIS database for all statutory applications and approvals within the state.
  • Collaborate with the State SCO Team, NDMs/SBDMs, and TPSPs to liaise with statutory authorities such as PESO, NHAI, MoRTH, District Magistrate Offices, and the Forest Department, as applicable.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team for the prompt release of SDA and other statutory drawings and keep government stakeholders and LOI Holders informed of progress.
  • Engage with LOI Holders and NDMs/SBDMs periodically to monitor their advancement on statutory approval matters.
  • Partner with the Real Estate (RE) Team to identify suitable land/sites for Company-Owned NROs and facilitate the statutory approval process post site finalization through the State Team, SCOs, and TPSPs.

Educational Qualification:

  • Essential:

    B.E. / B.Tech
  • Preferred:

    MBA with a specialization in Marketing

Experience:

  • Essential:

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Development, Network Development, or Channel Management.
  • Preferred:

    Familiarity with statutory and regulatory compliance processes.

Role-Specific Responsibilities:

State Team Lead Statutory

a. Supporting the State Business Development Managers (SBDMs) by coordinating and facilitating interactions with internal and external agencies during the onboarding of channel partners and throughout the construction phase.
b. Building and sustaining effective relationships with key stakeholders from statutory and regulatory bodies such as PESO, NHAI, MoRTH, Forest Department, District Administration, and Police Authorities. c. Tracking the status of statutory approvals for channel partners and accompanying them to relevant authorities to ensure timely clearance. d. Acting as the state-level representative for the Head Office Statutory Team with respect to Company-Owned NRO sites, ensuring prompt approvals through designated TPSPs and SCO Teams. e. Maintaining a centralized repository of all statutory approvals for NROs in the state, monitoring updates in the database, and issuing alerts for renewal and revalidation of approvals. f. Monitoring and ensuring timely disbursement of payments to TPSPs involved in statutory activities through the State Office.
