State CEO - Chhattisgarh

Role Overview

The State CEO will lead the overall business strategy, operations, and growth for the state. This role is responsible for driving revenue, profitability, operational excellence, and stakeholder relationships while ensuring compliance and building a high-performance culture across teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Growth

• Develop and execute the state-level business strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify market opportunities, partnerships, and expansion channels.
• Own revenue, profitability, and market-share targets.
• Lead state-level business planning, forecasting, and budgeting.

2. Operations & Execution

• Oversee end-to-end operations including sales, service delivery, supply chain, and support functions.
• Ensure process discipline, cost optimization, and productivity improvements.
• Implement digital tools, automation, and best practices across teams.

3. People Leadership

• Build, mentor, and retain a strong leadership team.
• Foster a performance-driven, inclusive, and accountable work culture.
• Drive capability-building, succession planning, and talent development.

4. Governance, Compliance & Risk

• Ensure adherence to legal, financial, and company policies.
• Identify and mitigate operational and business risks.
• Maintain strong audit, reporting, and governance standards.

5. Stakeholder & External Relations

• Represent the organization with government bodies, partners, key customers, and community leaders.
• Build strategic alliances to support growth objectives.
• Act as the brand ambassador for the organization in the state.

We Hope you have...

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Management, or related fields (MBA preferred).
• 8–13+ years of progressive leadership experience, including P&L ownership.
• Proven success in scaling operations and leading large teams.
• Experience working with government/stakeholder ecosystems (if applicable to your sector).
