Job Description

Startup Operations Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative & Team Support

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to multiple startup teams.
  • Manage calendars, meeting logistics, document tracking, and operational task follow-ups.

2. Founder Coordination

  • Act as a liaison with startup founders to gather updates, anticipate needs, and ensure timely execution of project milestones.
  • Proactively engage with team members via email, WhatsApp, and other channels to facilitate progress.

3. Mentor Coordination

  • Interface with startup mentors, schedule sessions, document feedback, and track the implementation of mentor recommendations.

4. Service Provider Coordination

  • Communicate with web/app developers, branding agencies, and other service providers.
  • Collect requirements from teams and ensure deliverables meet expectations and timelines.

5. Social Media & Marketing Coordination

  • Coordinate with founders and service providers to manage updates for social media platforms and related communications.
  • Assist in executing content calendars or campaigns as required.

6. Business Research

  • Conduct business research and competitive analysis as advised by the organization on an as-needed basis.
  • Prepare summary reports and highlight actionable insights.

7. Reporting & Weekly Check-ins

  • Submit concise daily activity reports to the organization.
  • Attend a weekly review meeting to discuss project progress, bottlenecks, and team needs.

Working Hours & Expectations:

  • Initial Commitment:

    10 hours/week (expandable up to 30 hours/week depending on performance and need).
  • Must be responsive and accessible across varied time zones.
  • Timely action and responsiveness via multiple communication tools (email, WhatsApp, etc.) is essential.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Preferably a business graduate or someone with practical exposure to early-stage businesses.
  • Prior experience in administrative or operational roles within startups-particularly in SaaS or tech-enabled services-is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Business students who can commit for at least 1 year of engagement can also apply.
