Job Title: Tax Associate / Tax Specialist (U.S. Taxation)Location: Ahmedabad, GujaratShift Timing: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST (U.S. Shift)Experience Required: 2 – 4 years in U.S. TaxationNotice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred / 30 DaysEmployment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations (C Corps & S Corps), and other entities in accordance with U.S. tax laws.Perform tax research and analysis on various tax issues and regulatory updates.Assist in tax planning and provide recommendations to optimize client tax positions.Review financial records, statements, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.Communicate directly with U.S. clients to collect necessary information and provide timely updates.Coordinate with internal teams and ensure all deliverables are met within deadlines.Keep up to date with IRS regulations, tax software updates, and industry trends.Ensure strict confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive financial information. Key Requirements:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum 2–4 years of experience in U.S. Taxation (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, etc.).Familiarity with U.S. tax software such as Drake, UltraTax, Pro Series, or Lacerte.Strong understanding of U.S. tax laws, compliance procedures, and IRS guidelines.Excellent English communication skills – both verbal and written.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and time management skills.Comfortable working in the 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST shift. Experience in Shared Service organization will be an asset. Education Training Bachelor s or master s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant, handson accounting experience. Experience with QuickBooks, Yardi, Xero etc. Working experience with offshore accounting.
