The Team: You will be joining the Internal IT team as Staff System Engineer and will be based in our location in Bangalore. You will be responsible for administrative infrastructure related tasks including regular maintenance of the IT infrastructure as well as to develop it further to the next level. You will lead and execute large-scale IT projects, from inception through deployment, ensuring timely delivery and successful integration with existing systems. In this context, we expect an excellent and proactive communication style.
The Role: As Celonis continues to grow we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, pragmatic and team player Staff System Engineer to join us and take ownership of Infrastructure-, Automation- and related IT systems for the business. It s a role where you will have great impact, autonomy and visibility across the wider IT team with many opportunities for learning, development and building enterprise technologies. You know complex interrelationships from different systems and you are able to take over responsibility for them.
The work you ll do:
- Administration / Maintenance / Developing of the global IT infrastructure
- You collaborate with our 2nd level Infrastructure and System Engineer project team
- Developing the future of automation within Internal IT Infrastructure systems Azure and Entra ID related systems, processes, services and access rights
- You proactively identify and create new necessary maintenance tasks related to our IT infrastructure and develop them further.
- Management of Google Workspace Platform including directory service management and scripting
- Executing large IT scale projects
- Collaboration Tools: Slack/O365/Google Workspace/Teams
The qualifications you need:
- Very strong knowledge (12+ years experience) in administering and maintaining a SaaS, cloud, on-prem and clients environment comprising of:
- Azure (incl., but not limited to, Entra ID, Identity Governance, Defender)
- Client management experience based on Kandji, Microsoft Intune
- APIs, Advanced Powershell scripting
- Windows 11, Windows Server 2019/2022, Linux, Mac OS, iOS
- Microsoft O365 knowledge including Teams
- Google Workspace and Cloud Platform
- Very structured troubleshooting and escalation to vendors
- Very strong knowledge (12+ years experience) in the following areas:
- Global infrastructure management including on-prem and Cloud providers
- You have co-developed IT infrastructure systems from scratch
- Automation of processes in highlighted areas
- Strong IT project management skills incl. evaluation of new technologies and presentation to Senior Management.
- Leading/Executing large IT scale projects in a well structured way
- Administration and use of GitHub repositories
- TCP/IP networks (incl., but not limited to, DNS, DHCP, routing, SSL)
- Ensure all systems adhere to corporate security policies and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- You are holding advanced certifications
