Staff Firmware Engineer

We are seeking a talented individual for the software design and development of Bluetooth Firmware for Qualcomm Bluetooth devices. This role involves developing new firmware for the latest Bluetooth specifications and futuristic products across Mobiles, Wearables, IoE, and Automotive markets. The candidate will also support existing firmware through feature additions, enhancements, and maintenance. Collaboration with the systems team and cross-functional teams is essential to deliver high-quality software following well-established development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software on various platforms for Qualcomm internal chipsets.
• Collaborate with other teams to determine and document requirements, driving the design process.
• Resolve issues reported by internal test teams and customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience with programming languages such as C/C++.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong experience and proficiency in C programming (9-13 years) for embedded platforms.
• Good understanding of networking protocol stacks; familiarity with mobile development is a plus.
• Understanding of the Bluetooth protocol stack is an additional advantage.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Extensive experience working with real-time operating systems.

Note: We are not specifically seeking individuals from the Bluetooth domain. However, the ideal candidate will be strong in C programming, OS concepts, and have a good understanding of embedded systems. Experience in the Bluetooth domain is a plus.
