As a member of the Power IT oCIO organization you will will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between strategic enterprise architecture, operational change management, and the financial impact of our technology investments. You will analyze our IT landscape, support the change process, and provide data-driven insights on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of our solutions to help guide informed decision-making across the organization
- Enterprise Architecture Support: ?Collaborate with enterprise and solution architects to document and maintain the current and future state of the IT landscape. Assist with the analysis of complex business requirements to help shape the technology strategy.
- Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Analysis: ?Lead TCO analysis for new and existing IT assets, including hardware, software, and services. Collect, analyze, and present financial data to provide a comprehensive view of technology costs, helping to optimize IT spending and justify investments.
- Process Improvement: ? Identify opportunities to enhance IT processes, focusing on how architecture principles and TCO analysis can drive operational efficiency. Participate in efforts to streamline workflows and improve the overall effectiveness of IT delivery. Champion a role as AI ambassador for your area of responsibility.
- Thought Leadership : ? Lead , innovate and influence through t hought l eadership by staying abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in enterprise architecture; share insights through presentations, publications, and participation in professional communities.
- Governance: Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, and governance models to ensure consistency, interoperability, and alignment with industry best practices.
- Reporting and Communication: ?Create clear and concise reports for various audiences, from technical teams to senior leadership. Communicate the impact of technology changes, architecture decisions, and TCO findings to ensure alignment and understanding across the organization.
- Change Management Coordination: ? Facilitate the IT change management process by coordinating with stakeholders and the Change Advisory Board (CAB). Work with technical and business teams to ensure that proposed changes are properly documented, assessed for risk, and scheduled effectively.
- Stakeholder Engagement: ?Build and maintain strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and ensure technology solutions are aligned with business objectives .
What youll bring (B asic Q ualification s)
- A Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience/knowledge.
- Significant experience in an IT role, with demonstrable experience in at least two of the following areas: Enterprise Architecture, IT Change Management, or IT Financial Management (TCO).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical and financial information to diverse audiences.
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow, including exposure to the Change Management and Application Portfolio Management (APM) modules.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and IT financial concepts.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and financial modeling is highly desirable.
