Role Overview: Bain & Company is a global consultancy firm that collaborates with clients worldwide to achieve extraordinary results and redefine industries. As a Reporting & Analytics Sr. Associate (GSO) at Bains Gurugram GBS office, you will be a part of the team responsible for providing research and business intelligence support to the firms Global Strategy & Operations team. Your role will involve overseeing competitive intelligence projects, ensuring high-quality analysis, coaching junior team members, and effectively communicating with senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee support competitive intelligence and competitive benchmarking projects for firm leadership - Ensure timely, high quality, zero-defect analysis and output produced by the associates - Provide day-to-day coaching and mentoring to junior team members - Independently drive communication with senior stakeholders, managing quality of output and deadlines - Gather, analyze, and synthesize data to produce key insights - Conduct secondary research to gather data about key consulting players - Suggest alternate platforms to find better quality data - Utilize Data Visualization and Data Analysis tools like Alteryx, Tableau, etc. - Refresh and maintain dashboards and data on Excel and Tableau, optimizing Alteryx workflow - Lead problem-solving, hypothesis generation, and work-planning - Create project delivery roadmap in consultation with team leadership - Manage work-plans for assigned team members and resolve overloads - Effectively communicate with stakeholders, deliver professional presentations, and oversee production of research and commercial reports - Adapt to stakeholder needs, resolve complex issues, and manage project expectations - Coach and train the team on tools and processes to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and innovation Qualification Required: - First-class undergraduate/postgraduate from leading and reputed colleges - 6-8 years (graduates)/4-6 years (postgraduates) of relevant experience working with large, multi-national organizations or understanding of the research/consulting business environment - Knowledge of working with online journals, websites, reports, and paid databases - Good data interpretation skills - Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Ability to work on competitive intelligence studies, market sizing, and estimation - Working knowledge of data analytics software such as Alteryx, Python, and passion for automation of processes/reporting using these tools - Ability to prioritize projects, manage multiple competing priorities, and drive projects to completion under tight deadlines Role Overview: Bain & Company is a global consultancy firm that collaborates with clients worldwide to achieve extraordinary results and redefine industries.
