Role Overview: As a Reporting & Analytics Sr. Associate at Bain & Company's Gurugram GBS office, you will play a critical role in providing research and business intelligence support to the firm's Global Strategy & Operations team. Your responsibilities will include overseeing competitive intelligence and benchmarking projects, ensuring high-quality analysis, coaching and mentoring junior team members, and communicating effectively with senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Gather, analyze, and synthesize data for research purposes - Conduct secondary research on key consulting players - Use data visualization and analysis tools like Alteryx, Tableau for insights generation - Maintain and optimize dashboards and data on Excel and Tableau - Lead problem-solving, hypothesis generation, and work-planning for projects - Manage workload, resolve overloads, and create project delivery roadmaps - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, deliver professional presentations, and produce error-free research output - Provide coaching and training to the team on tools and processes to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and innovation Qualifications: - First-class undergraduate/postgraduate from leading colleges - 6-8 years (graduates)/4-6 years (postgraduates) of relevant experience in a large, multinational organization - Understanding of research/consulting business environment, language, and processes - Knowledge of working with online journals, websites, reports, and paid databases - Strong data interpretation skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint - Excellent oral and written communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders - Ability to work on competitive intelligence studies, market sizing, and estimation - Familiarity with data analytics software like Alteryx, Python, and passion for automation Note: Company overview details have been omitted from the job description.
