The ideal candidate will have 2 5 years of experience in managing and optimizing infrastructure systems, with a particular emphasis on Oracle databases. This role requires a proactive approach to problem solving and a commitment to maintaining high availability and performance of our database systems. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Oracle database environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. Perform regular database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning. Monitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies. Collaborate with development teams to support database related application development and deployment. Implement and manage database security policies and procedures. Assist in capacity planning and infrastructure scaling to meet business needs. Document database configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing. Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and best practices in database management. Mandatory Skills: Strong knowledge and hands on experience in Oracle Database Administration. Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming. Experience with database backup and recovery techniques. Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization. Understanding of database security best practices. Preferred Skills: Experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard. Knowledge of cloud based database solutions. Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems. Experience with automation tools for database management. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2 5 years of experience in database administration, specifically with Oracle databases. Relevant certifications in Oracle Database Administration are a plus. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
