We are seeking a talented, experienced, and passionate front-end Senior Software Engineer to join our hybrid team.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team who will work within a close-knit team of like-minded developers, problem solving, and coming up with clever solutions to requirements from customers, UX and the Product Management team. We have a distributed team, so we require great organization, communication and collaboration skills.
You will need to be specializing in front-end development (Javascript, Vue.js, Pinia, Vuex, VueRouter, HTML, CSS , Webpack, Vite). These engineers will be working on the Webroot Management Console, which is used by Managed Service Providers and Business Admins to buy, trial, provision and manage all Webroot products from a single pane-of-glass.
What the role offers
The successful candidate will be a key contributor for development teams based in Bangalore India, as well collaborations globally. They will design, develop and deliver new features, or expand and improve on existing functionality in order to advance the capabilities and usability of our online management console. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer who can tackle complex workflows and is able to take leadership of varied projects. This individual will need to be high functioning, communicative and motivated in a distributed team environment. They will provide major input to high-visibility products and will be an essential member of our international Console Development team.
What you need to succeed
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and Vue.js ecosystem.
- Experience with Options/Composition API is essential.
- Experience with state management tools like Vuex, Pinia, Vue Router and component-based architecture.
- HTML5, CSS3, responsive design principles, and Vue-compatible styling approaches such asscoped CSS, CSS Modules
- Hands-on experience with unit testing and TDD using Jest, Mocha,Vue Test Utils or similar frameworks. Familiarity with Vitest is a plus.
- Experience with build tools likeVite, Webpack
- Familiarity with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Desirable experience which would be beneficial, but not essential:
- Building reusable components
- Building and contributing to complex, single-page applications
- Micro-front-end architecture
