Sr. QA Automation Engineer

• Automation expert with extensive experience on API Testing, Database testing, Web Application testing using Selenium, Cucumber Automation

• Agile Practitioner and lead in driving QA tasks and activities
• Gained significant product and proprietary knowledge and have signed IP rights contract. The product knowledge and automation testing skills becomes very critical for our product development and delivery.
• Implementing testing practices and setting up the process for the team.
• Involving in design and business discussion to understand the business requirement and provide estimations for various development.
• Strong in Database Testing, SQL, Unix, Procedure/Package Code debugging.
• Experience in DB Automation for test package and have worked in multiple end to end database migration projects.
• Good understanding of flat files validation / business validation end to end with database (CSV/XML/TXT)
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on Payment and Cards domain
• Good understanding of requirements clearly and translating them into test scenarios and test cases
• Technical and functional expertise in Database testing projects
• Have been able to co-ordinate with the development team/onshore team to gather clarity of the requirements
• Tracking of test case creation and preparation with the team
• Tracking of test execution and defect management
• Exposure to Unix, Strong in DB/SQL
• Very strong knowledge and extensive working knowledge of SQL (proficient with minus queries, various types of joins etc.)
• Very good communication skills and a good team player

Requirements

• Experience with Continuous Integration systems and codebase management with Git.
  
• Ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules.
  
• Able to communicate with technical and non-technical teams.
  
• Create, maintain, and scale automated black-box test suites and documentation for API’s.
  
• Ability to investigate, debug and triage difficult problems in automation, and independently work towards results.
  
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  
• Hispanic people with fluid Spanish language or people with 80% of Spanish language level.
  
• Expertise in front-end manual testing, and front-end automation testing with Selenium (Java, Maven, or Python) developing, executing, and maintaining test suites. 3 years or more (Advanced Level, this will be helpful).
  
• Fintech Industry or Financial Industry expertise will be a plus for this role.
