Sr. QA Automation Engineer

As a Sr. QA Engineer at Harrier Information Systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality software within the SDLC. Your responsibilities will include: - Applying strong testing fundamentals to guarantee high-quality software. - Collaborating in Agile environments using the Scrum framework for effective teamwork. - Communicating effectively with stakeholders to provide project status updates and escalate critical issues. - Sharing knowledge with team members to enhance testing strategies. - Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports. - Conducting UI and API testing to validate software functionality and performance. In terms of technical requirements, you should have proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python for test automation. Additionally, familiarity with Page Object Model (POM) design, experience with test automation frameworks like PyTest or Cypress/Playwright, and strong debugging skills using browser developer tools are essential. You should also be comfortable working independently, have hands-on experience with Linux and the command line, and be adept at leveraging AI tools for coding efficiency. Nice to have qualifications include experience in the health tech industry and hands-on experience in writing UI automation tests using the Playwright framework.
