Sr. QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview: As a QA Automation Engineer at Techminds, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure high-quality standards of applications. Your role will involve collaborating with developers, testers, and product teams to identify testing requirements, automate testing processes, and enhance the efficiency of the testing phase in the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough software testing, analyze data, write test cases, and communicate effectively with developers. - Ensure software functionality across various operating systems, browsers, and devices to meet user needs and standards. - Test software for security vulnerabilities and provide input for enhancing product solutions. - Communicate testing results to stakeholders and recommend areas for improvement. - Collaborate with project developers, business analysts, and customer support teams to meet user expectations. - Develop software test cases based on consumer specifications and requirements. - Perform root cause analysis on defects to mitigate project risks. - Conduct exploratory and usability testing to identify bugs before software deployment. - Execute comprehensive testing to ensure all software features function as intended. - Contribute to the enhancement of software testing methodologies and develop standard operating procedures as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer programming, software development, or related fields. - 7+ years of experience as a software tester or software quality assurance specialist. - Proficiency in writing unit tests and integration tests for programming languages. - Experience in automation using Java Selenium and Appium. - Knowledge of computer architecture, manual & auto testing tools, unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, and bug-tracking systems. - Demonstrated success in software development lifecycle management. - Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Robot Framework. - Strong interpersonal skills, analytical abilities, data analysis acumen, troubleshooting skills, and programming capabilities. - Willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Mobile app testing experience is mandatory.
