Job Description

What Youll Do

Design and build scalable APIs in
Node.js
to power our mobile app.
Manage data pipelines, storage, and querying with
MongoDB
(bonus for Elasticsearch experience).
Optimize backend architecture for speed and resilience.
Implement robust security practices, user auth (e.g. JWT), and privacy-first design.
Collaborate closely with frontend/mobile teams to ship new features quickly.
Own backend deployments and monitor system health.

What Makes You a Fit

3–12 years
backend development experience, ideally with strong Node.js fundamentals.
Confident designing RESTful APIs and handling complex data workflows.
Hands-on experience with
MongoDB
(indexing, aggregation, performance tuning).
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Experience writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
Comfortable in fast-paced, startup environments where you wear multiple hats.
Passionate about building secure, privacy-respecting systems.
