Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Python applications for various projects.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

• Identify and fix bottlenecks, bugs, and enhance application performance to ensure seamless functionality.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our software solutions are at the forefront of innovation.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Develop and implement system design strategies that align with business objectives and improve system efficiency.

• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to decision-making processes regarding technical solutions.

• Ensure the implementation of robust security measures and regular maintenance of the developed software.

• Generate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for reference and training purposes.


Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a senior-level developer with a deep understanding of Python programming.

• Extensive experience in building and deploying machine learning models and algorithms.

• Proficiency in designing systems architecture and understanding distributed systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with sharp attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to lead small to medium-sized development projects independently.

• Ability to work in a remote setup while maintaining strong organizational skills and dedicated work ethics.

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

• Prior experience in mentoring and guiding development teams is highly advantageous.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.


Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end development of software projects from concept to deployment.

• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to create innovative software solutions tailored to meet business goals.

• Advise on technological choices, tools, and frameworks that optimize development processes and project outcomes.

• Lead code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure the highest quality of code output.

• Drive continuous integration, testing, and deployment practices to achieve automated development pipelines.

• Deliver targeted and effective training sessions to internal teams as part of knowledge-sharing and skill development initiatives.

• Act as a technical expert on system architecture and software engineering best practices within the development team.

• Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure software solutions meet established quality standards.

• Seek feedback and continuously enhance existing systems and processes to improve reliability and efficiency.

• Facilitate and participate in project post-mortems to document and share insights for future projects.
