Position:OpenShift DevOps Engineer
Experience: 6–10 years
Location: Pune
Work Mode: Hybrid
Shift Timing: UK Shift (2 PM – 11 PM)
Education:BE / B.Tech

Key Responsibilities

Lead architecture, installation, and configuration of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
Perform advanced troubleshooting for complex platform, application & networking issues.
Develop automation using Python and Shell for deployments and operations.
Implement & manage Istio service mesh (traffic management, mTLS, policies).
Manage logging/observability: EFK stack (Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana), Vector, or Loki.
Administer databases such as Noobaa and PostgreSQL.
Configure and manage Operators, StorageClasses, PVs, pods, scheduling & quotas.
Implement network security: NetworkPolicies, firewall rules.
Create detailed technical documentation, diagrams, and runbooks in Confluence.
Handle incident & service workflows in Jira and meet SLOs/SLAs.
Work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills

6+ years in DevOps/Platform Engineering/SRE roles.
Expert-level OpenShift installation, administration & troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of Operators, storage, and pod management.
Hands-on experience in configuring network policies and firewall rules in OCP.
Strong scripting skills: Python, Shell.
Proven experience with Istio service mesh.
Logging observability experience: EFK / Vector / Loki.
Experience with Noobaa and/or PostgreSQL.
Excellent documentation skills, Jira & Confluence proficiency.
Self-driven individual contributor + strong team collaboration.
