Key Roles:

Standalone Modern Trade (SAMT) and Supermarket formats within General Trade (GT) across Mumbai

Job Profile:

  • Independently manage Standalone Modern Trade (SAMT) and General Trade operations across Mumbai, focusing on top retail and supermarket outlets.
  • Drive secondary sales and ensure consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Enhance outlet-level visibility and availability with a strong focus on high-volume and priority SKUs; drive increase in share of shelf.
  • Build and nurture strong trade relationships to improve market presence and product pull.
  • Execute trade schemes, in-store promotions, and product placements effectively to boost brand visibility and conversions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and stock movement to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with distributors and internal teams to ensure smooth execution, stock availability, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Foster strong coordination with area Sales Officers to ensure aligned execution, optimize outlet-level efforts, and maintain channel harmony
  • Provide regular performance reports and market insights to the Area Sales Manager (ASM).

Desire Profile:

  • Graduate / MBA (Sales / Marketing) or a related field with 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in FMCG General Trade sales, ideally in the food category.
  • General Trade Sales Experienced in FMCG Industry is mandatory.
  • Candidate should be a high-performing Sales Professional in FMCG products to drive growth across Standalone Modern Trade (SAMT) and Supermarket formats within General Trade (GT) across Mumbai.
  • This is a pivotal role focused on managing key high-potential retail and supermarket outlets,
  • Skills in Ensuring strong SKU visibility & lasting trade relationships.
  • Deep understanding of the Mumbai general trade market and key outlet dynamics.
  • Candidate must have experience into South Mumbai & Western line
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
  • Good command of MS Office tools-Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • High energy, execution-focused, and target-driven mindset
