Sr. Network Engineer (L2)- INFINET Projects

Summary:

1) L2 network engineers are involved in the network architecture, design and implementation phase of projects and PoC.  
2) Project/program management - Project tracking, day to day project management activities, resolving daily project related issues, working closely with OEMs/NI/SI for delivering projects on time.

1) Participate in network projects planning and execution.
2) Work closely with project managers, architects, and other team members to develop project plans, define deliverables and timelines, and allocate resources effectively. 3) Ensure comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle.  Create detailed network designs, configurations, and procedures, and maintain accurate records of changes and updates. 4) Actively participate in knowledge sharing sessions, providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members, and promoting best practices within the team. 5) Engage in effective communication and collaboration with project stakeholders.  Provide regular updates on project progress, address technical concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives.  6) Responsible for implementing robust network security measures within projects.   7) Collaborate with vendors, OEM’s and other teams, such as system administrators and application developers, to ensure seamless integration of network projects. 8) Support in RFP/RFQ activities 9) Prepare HLD & LLD, generate configuration template for network changes, and harden network devices. 10) Vendor/OEM coordination for POC's and project implementation 11) Prepare SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for projects, operating teams with escalation framework.

Experience :

1) B.E/ B.Tech, M.Tech/MCA (Computer/IT) with 4 to 6 plus years or B.Sc (Computers) with 7 to 8 plus years of working experience on large complex enterprise networks. - Mandatory
2) Must have handson experience in protocols/technologies like MPLS (traffic engineering, L2/L3 VPN), BGP-4/MP-BGP, ISIS, OSPF/OSPFv3, EIGRP, RSVP, LDP, VXLAN, Network Access Control, 802.1x, VPN. - Mandatory 3) Experience in Software Defined Network (SDN) & SD-WAN. - Desirable 4) Experience in dealing with banks / financial institutions /NBFCs networks will be an added advantage. - Desirable 5) Hands on experience on multi-vendor / multi-service IP networks, multi-vendor equipment and network protocols. - Mandatory 6) Experience in Security devices - Desirable 7) Configuration experience on network management and monitoring tools - Mandatory 8) Engaged in desingning / solutioning a Network - Desirable 9) Network performance review, analyse and take up for correction with provider. - Mandatory 10) Experience on network management tools like Cisco ISE, DNAC. - Desirable

Knowledge:

1) Network & security devices like firewalls, WAFs, L3 & L2 switches, LBs. - Desirable
2) Understanding of OSI model and TCP/IP protocol (IPv4 & IPv6) - Mandatory 3) Knowledge on network capture / analysis tools like Wireshark - Desirable 4) Knowledge on Cloud Networking - Desirable

Technical Skill:
