Summary :
The L3 support Engineer will support in the design, implementation, and 24x7 operations of secure and highly available network infrastructure supporting mission-critical banking and financial services. This role is pivotal in ensuring regulatory compliance, data confidentiality, operational resilience, and high service availability across Data Centers, Disaster Recovery Sites, Branch Networks, and SD-WAN architectures.
He will support in incident management, change control, and service continuity in line with RBI and other regulatory guidelines. Engage with manage cross-functional teams and vendor partners, drive SLA adherence, and support proactive monitoring and optimization efforts.
The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in BFSI network operations to continuously enhance the digital banking experience while safeguarding customer trust and data integrity.
Responsibilities:
1. Network Operations & Troubleshooting:
Manage and support end-to-end network operations across Data Centers & Branch Networks. Follow and implement SOPs for incident, change, and problem management aligned with ITIL practices. Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance of the banking network infrastructure.
2. Technical Implementation & Review:
Review & understand the HLD/LLD designs for LAN/WAN/SD-WAN & MPLS. Implement and maintain network automation and proactive monitoring solutions. Perform detailed root cause analysis (RCA) and provide technical inputs during major incident resolution.
3. Network Security & Compliance:
Implement and monitor adherence to RBI and regulatory guidelines on network security, segmentation, and logging. Support audit activities by providing technical evidence and implementing security best practices across the infrastructure.
4. Operational Support & Knowledge Sharing:
Provide advanced L3-level technical support to L1/L2 teams for escalated incidents. Document solutions, troubleshooting steps, and share knowledge with junior team members. Participate in continuous learning and skill upgrades for new technologies.
5. Project & Change Execution:
Execute network rollouts, migrations, upgrades, and DR drills with minimal downtime. Follow established change management processes and implement risk mitigation steps during changes. Ensure smooth transition and validation after project implementations.
6. Reporting & Audit Support:
Generate and maintain operational dashboards, SLA reports, and capacity/utilization data. Document RCA reports and share with management as required. Support internal/external audit requirements and assist in timely closure of compliance observations.
Certifications
1) CCNP - Mandatory

Knowledge :
1) Understanding of OSI model and TCP/IP protocol (IPv4 & IPv6) - Mandatory
