Job Description

Business Development : -

Manufacturers in the world and a leading specialty steel producer in India.

  • Experience of marketing head for development of Alloys Steel in International market.

  • Engaged in planning and marketing of value added steel.

  • Devising & effectuating competitive selling programs/strategies to improve the product awareness and enhance business growth.

  • Reviewing and interpreting the competition (through in-depth analysis of market information) to finalise the marketing strategy and ensure profitable growth.

  • Co-ordination head and in-charge for Alloys Steel Marketing.

  • Handling the Alloys Steel business of the company.

  • To Coordinate Sales and handle of the customer.

  • Processing inquiries and quotations, and preparation of contract review.

  • To maintain customer relations by providing quality material to them and timely commitments.

  • Creating and processing of Sales order, and material follow up with PPC and plant.

  • Maintaining daily and weekly performance reports.

  • Payments follow-ups.

  • Preparation and processing of credit and debit notes.

  • Developing new clients by comparative study of market variable such as cost, etc. and providing them with superior service.

  • Conducting extensive market research to analyze and assess market potential, tracking competitor activities for providing valuable inputs to fine-tune selling & marketing strategies.

  • Developing relationships with decision makers and key buyers in negotiation stages.

  • To formulate strategies and policies, and create new approaches in adverse situations.

  • Negotiation with CHA, F/F and Logistics Team.

  • Co-ordination with plant for the timely execution of the orders and with customer for timely realization of payment.

  • To formulate a strategy and timeline with milestones to open up overseas subsidiary.

  • To check the export documents.

Handling in the International Markets (South America, Russia, South Africa, East Europe and South East Asia) Developed Brazil, Cuba, Spain, Italy, Kenya, Indonesia & China

Business Development/ International Business :-

  • Exploring business potential, opportunities & clientele to secure profitable business volumes.

  • Actively involved in sales presentations and media negotiations.

  • Designing marketing plans for augmenting the business volume by enhancing brand visibility & recall.

  • Mentoring and managing new recruits, thereby ensuring optimum performance.

  • Handling

    the Exports

    and Overseas Business.

Strategic Planning :-

  • Establishing the goals and targets of the team, short term/ long term budgets and developing business plans for achievement of these goals.

  • Carrying out the business planning and analysis for assessment of revenue potential in business opportunities.

Institutional Sales & Marketing :-

  • Developing marketing plans for the institutions & generate sales from the same.

  • Fostering relationships with key institutions in target organizations for business development.

  • Conducting training programs & seminars to disseminate industry information.

  • Utilizing public information & personal network to develop marketing intelligence.

  • Analysing & reviewing market response/ requirements and communicating the same to the marketing teams.

  • Executing competitor analysis by keeping abreast of market trends and competitor moves.

Key Account Management/ Pre-sales Operations :-

  • Sorting potential customers through various databases and giving demo at clients place.

  • Providing pre-sales support including customer presentations, demos & writing technical proposals.

  • Managing activities pertaining to negotiating/ finalization of deals for execution of sales & order processing.

  • Designing right product-mix for the potential customers through best suitable laminate structure and customized pricing to obtain maximum results.

Customer Relationship Management : -

  • Addressing to customer complaints and providing timely and accurate solutions to them.

  • Interfacing with customers, mapping their requirements & handling product customization.

  • Providing prompt & superior customer support & building market credibility through loyalty programs for the same.

  • Developing effective relationship with significant clients to ascertain rendering of quality service and achieving customer delight for business retention/enhancement.

  • Customer profitability analysis, identifying areas of improvement for maintaining better customer relationship.
