Sr. Merchandiser

Job Description

Product Development : Collaborate with design and production teams to develop new products. Assist in creating tech packs, specifications, and samples for new products. Vendor Coordination : Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery of products. Follow up on purchase orders, production schedules, and shipments. Quality Control : Conduct quality checks on products during various stages of production. Ensure products meet the company's quality standards and specifications. Inventory Management : Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to manage stock. Assist in planning and replenishing stock based on sales forecasts and trends. Market Research : Conduct market research to identify new trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. Provide insights and recommendations to the senior merchandising team. Sales Support : Assist the sales team with product information, pricing, and availability. Prepare sales presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of product specifications, orders, and shipments. Prepare regular reports on merchandising activities and performance metrics. Customer Feedback : Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for product improvement. Coordinate with the customer service team to address product-related inquiries and issues. Cost Management : Monitor production costs and work with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms. Ensure products are produced within budget and meet the desired profit margins. Sample Management : o Coordinate the development and approval of product samples. o Ensure samples are reviewed and approved in a timely manner.
