Sr. Merchandiser

Role Overview: You will be responsible for buyer communication to ensure all necessary clarifications are sought in time. Additionally, you will coordinate day-to-day activities with the production team, manage fabric and trim orders, and follow up on these orders. Your role will involve managing and improving the performance of all functions in merchandising, including development, costing, and pre-production. Ensuring that PCDs committed to PPC are met and finalizing cost sheets for all products will also be part of your responsibilities. You will negotiate prices with buyers to ensure they fall within the brackets advised by management. Timely closure of negotiations, receipt of ordersheets from buyers within advised timelines, and proactive resolution of process bottlenecks to maintain exceptional pace in product delivery will be crucial aspects of your role. Moreover, driving growth in business and collaborating with the design team to introduce new products based on prospective buyers" needs will be key KRAs.
