Job Description

As a Senior Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in the product development and delivery process by analyzing market trends and customer behavior to anticipate product demands. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding customer requirements and assisting them in acquiring the right products at the right price and time. - Collaborating with buyers and suppliers for sample development, approval, and order confirmation to ensure timely delivery. - Managing inspection responsibilities to uphold product quality and shipment accuracy through effective coordination with suppliers. - Visiting and managing a dedicated customer list for specific zone-wise work to cater to their needs. - Developing and executing merchandising strategies to support the team in discovering new suppliers and products. - Creating costing sheets, order sheets, and Time and Action Plans. - Providing supervision and mentorship to zone-wise teams. Key Skills required for this role include: - Strong knowledge of Textile and Garment production and costing. - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. - Exceptional negotiation, communication, and management skills. - Attention to detail and ability to identify key aspects as a Senior Merchandiser. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Textile Engineering/Technology/Fashion Designing/Diploma in Garment Merchandising/Handloom Technology/BBA/B.A/B.Com/B.Com (H) or related field. - 7-12 years of experience in the industry.
