Merchandiser

As a Fashion Merchandiser, you will collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate time-scales and assist in price negotiations. You will lead the process of sample preparation and order confirmation while maintaining both Sampling and Production Timelines. It will be your responsibility to participate in inspections, ensure product quality, and oversee production control for timely order execution and delivery. Additionally, you will coordinate with Concerned departments for timely execution of shipments and analyze sales figures, customer reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs. To excel in this role, you should have knowledge about woven & knit fabric, along with a good understanding of Production, Product Development, and Costing. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within the team and with external partners. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or a related field like Marketing, Textile, or Garment technology. A Master's degree in a related field would be considered an advantage. The desired candidate will have a minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Fashion Merchandising, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry and its requirements.,
