Merchandiser

As a Merchandiser at the company, your role will involve supporting the Senior Merchandiser as a team player. You should be eager to learn and develop merchandising skills, capable of working both independently and as part of a team, and able to perform effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. It is essential to have knowledge of woven and/or knitted garments and be prepared to visit factories/suppliers as needed. Your responsibilities will include daily follow-up on production status, providing detailed product presentations for management review, coordinating with suppliers to maintain inventory, preparing production files and Bills of Materials (BOM), managing fabrics and accessories details to prevent delays, maintaining order booking records, and liaising with the Quality Assurance team to ensure timely updates on buyer requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Support the Senior Merchandiser - Learn and develop merchandising skills - Work independently and as part of a team - Handle pressure and meet deadlines - Have knowledge of woven and/or knitted garments - Visit factories/suppliers when required - Follow up on production status and update the merchant team - Present products with complete details for management review - Coordinate with suppliers to manage inventory - Prepare production files and Bills of Materials (BOM) - Maintain fabrics and accessories details to prevent delays - Keep records of order bookings - Coordinate with the QA team to update buyer requirements Qualifications Required: - Undergraduate degree - Fluent in English & Hindi - Experience in handling domestic brands Additionally, you should possess strong communication skills, be adept at multitasking, and have expertise in MS Office. This position is open to both male and female candidates and requires full-time availability on a permanent basis.
