Sr. Merchandiser

Role Overview: You will be responsible for buyer communication to ensure all necessary clarifications are sought in time. Additionally, you will coordinate day-to-day activities with the production team, manage and improve the performance of all functions in merchandising, finalize cost sheets for products, negotiate prices with buyers, and ensure that all negotiations are closed on time. Your key Key Result Area (KRA) will be to drive growth in business and work with the design team to introduce new products based on prospective buyers' requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate buyer communication and clarify any doubts in a timely manner. - Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth day-to-day activities. - Place fabric and trim orders and follow up on these orders. - Manage and improve the performance of all functions in merchandising. - Ensure that PCDs committed to PPC are met. - Finalize cost sheets for all products and negotiate prices with buyers. - Ensure timely closure of negotiations and receipt of ordersheets from buyers. - Proactively identify and address any bottlenecks in processes to ensure timely product delivery. - Drive business growth by working on key KRAs. - Collaborate with the design team to introduce new products based on prospective buyers' needs. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in merchandising or a related field. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Design abilities to collaborate with the design team. - Full-time availability and willingness to work day shifts.
