Job Description

Role Overview: As a Sales Manager at Tata Communications, you will be responsible for driving sales of new and existing accounts by adding new revenue streams, acquiring new logos, and ensuring deep product penetration for the existing set of accounts. Your role will involve complete ownership of driving new order bookings (OB) and existing revenue for the business or the assigned set of accounts. It is crucial to contribute to defining the direction of the operating plans based on the business strategy with a significant mid-term impact on the business unit's overall results. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze the business potential and develop sales plans and strategies to grow existing business, develop new revenue streams, and acquire new logos. - Build key stakeholder relationships by connecting with decision-makers, influencers, and executive sponsors within accounts/partner organizations at multiple levels. - Create and manage sales pipeline, including sales projections and revenue forecasts. - Engage with key customers to understand their requirements and oversee the fulfillment throughout the sales cycle. - Establish account ownership by understanding customer strategic objectives, business requirements, operational challenges, buying decisions, contractual processes, internal dynamics, and managing key stakeholder expectations. - Drive cross-functional teams internally, such as technical solutions, bids and commercial, finance, products, service delivery, and operations. - May function as an individual contributor or lead a small team. Qualification Required: - Minimum of enterprise sales experience with a background in technology services companies (telecom, hardware, software, applications, cloud services) in an account management role. Desired Skills: - Proficiency in sales motion cadence associated with forecasting, SFDC management, and pipeline/funnel build. - Extensive experience in establishing executive relationships with key customer stakeholders. - Expertise in drafting a Go-to-Market plan and customer acquisition strategy.,
